Job Title: Front Desk Team Member - Summer 2025

Vibe Yoga is a thriving studio that continues to offer services and products to the Bloomington community that will increase the quality of lifestyle in each individual and encourage growth from within.  

Job Overview:

Responsible for creating a calm, organized, and friendly environment for all guests that visit the studio.  This includes but is not limited to, preparing the studio space for classes, merchandising and supervising boutique, registering guests for classes and workshops, keeping the lobby and common areas orderly, and assisting management in sales and marketing by having a working knowledge of all classes and events offered.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for registering guests into classes and events.

  • Responsible for managing client rosters for each service offered when scheduled.

  • Responsible for managing the messenger ai communications during shift. 

  • Must be able to prioritize needs and manage time effectively.

  • Must be able to provide excellent leadership and effectively communicate between all customers and staff. We use email, phone, text, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Responsible for attending staff meetings or check ins with supervisor and studio meetings as scheduled.

  • Must be able to have a working knowledge of MBO software.

  • Responsible for all accurate information be entered, modified, and adjusted into MindBody software.

  • Must be able to develop, communicate, and enforce studio policy to customers and teaching staff.

  • Responsible for keeping the studio clean, stocked, and orderly on a day-to-day basis.

  • Responsible for communicating between management, teaching staff, and clients the necessary information each shift.

  • Responsible for knowing and being able to communicate all services and products offered at the studio.

  • Offer support to management through reaching sales marketing goals.

  • Must reach benchmark goals for the software system set by management.

  • Cultivate community growth by interacting with members and clients, welcoming each client by name.

  • Responsible for laundry and providing service support such as cold towels for each class.

  • Prop organization, cleaning, and communication for each class.

  • Responsible for keeping an accurate drawer of daily cash and communicating sales each day to management. 

  • Open and closing shift responsibilities.

  • Follow safety procedures and policy each shift, including communication of policy, enforcement of policy, and offering feedback to management.
